The "EU-Macao Business Opportunity Seminar-Developing New Industries based on Creative and Intellectual Property" on 24 Oct during the 14th MIF

Organised by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and co-organised by eleven local and overseas associations, the 14th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) will be held from 22-25 October 2009, at the Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel.
Jointly organised by IPIM, Macao Economic Services, Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, the Institute of European Studies of Macau and the European Union Business Information Programme, the “EU-Macao Business Opportunity Seminar – Developing New Industries based on Creativity and Intellectual Property” is scheduled to be held on 24 October 2009 (Saturday), at 2:30-4:30 pm in Sicily Room at the Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel during MIF.
The purpose of the seminar is to have European experts in Creative and Intellectual Property Industries share their experiences and insights with local players in related industries; explore business opportunities in Macao’s creative industries and strengthen co-operation between EU and Macao’s SMEs, designers and academic institutes in the creative industries. Moreover, local designers and representatives from creative institutes are invited to have a discussion with our keynote speakers from the EU on some practical issues in developing these new industries in Macao.
