Hosted by the Instituto de Apoio às Pequenas e Médias Empresas e à Inovação (IAPMEI) in Lisbon of Portugal, the Contact Point in Macao has access to the Enterprise Europe Network in the European Union. This link with our colleagues in Europe ensures that we can easily assist enterprises to obtain the best and most up-to-date information on EU issues, legislations, and business contacts in the European Union.

In order to enhance information exchange, the Contact Point in Macao has signed co-operative agreements with several business intermediary bodies and information centres in China. Our China information network covers Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, Zhaoqing, Henan, Shenyang and Beijing. In the near future, this network will be expanded to cover other provinces and cities throughout China. It is through these co-operative relations that information on economics and trade as well as details on co-operation opportunities in mainland China can be efficiently transmitted to the European Union and vice versa.
